Start with the following checks:
- Ensure that both cooling fans come on when you press the A/C switch.
- Verify that the outside air temperature sensor is indicating the correct temperature, if it is indicating too low it will not allow the system to operate.
- You state that your system is fully charged, how do you know the system has the correct amount of refrigerant in it? Malfuctioning high and low refrigerant pressure switches can exhibit these symptoms, check them also.
- See if the A/C compressor clutch is engaging and turning the compressor when you activate the A/C switch.
If you do not know much about automotive A/C systems you should probably obtain an A/C system troubleshooting guide or a service manual.

Also, pull your codes from the DIC just in case anything shows up there.
