code problems
hey vett buddies i was on the highway doing like 80mph when my 98 just started to die down on me.so i pulled over and pulled the key to restart it but it was idleing up and down on its own. then i saw my check engine light pop up, so that was when i went into the system and deleted all the codes and it fired right up like normal.any ideas what might cause that because im scared to drive it again and get stuck for sure?

I think that would have something to do with the issue.
Your most likely having a serial data buss issue. It MOST LIKELY being caused by the connectors in the accordion tube between the doors BUT,,,,, thats all speculation on my part. Just for the heck of it,, I would start there and fix the frmale pins in the plugs that are deformed.
