The Speedo on my 2003, C5 is not working. The needle is all the way to the right past 200mph. It does not move. I just replaced the AC Heater Control in the dash and everything works fine (except the speedo). Cannot believe the two are connected. Tach works.
Other than something at the speedometer connector back on the differential...I'm truly not sure what to suggest. At least make sure that connector back there is plugged in. I think you'll need the help of Bill Curlee, Lucky131969 or 8VETTE7
I made a visit to my mechanic who works on my car when it is something I cannot fix. He said that the speedometer and tach, both cycle whenever the car is turned on. The speedo may have cycled at the wrong time and got stuck. He pounded on the upper dash at the same time he turned the car to on. The speedo returned to its proper position and seems to work fine. Thought I would share this with everyone.

I think I know this mechanic.....is his name Arthur Fonzarelli?
