No, wanted to see how much lift he was running and if he was running the standard spring since valve bounce can occur. Sometimes a failure is a symptom as opposed to the problem itself.

I have a thread on LS1tech about this. There is contact info for Yella Terra. Also you can contact your supplier and they can assist you in the replacement.

I still have my 2nd set in my LS2 and they are working great. And I bought my 1st set from Vengance also

EDIT- found the thread, I have one on here also. (edit- not my thread, but one where I posted in)

And we're comparing a solid roller setup to a hydraulic setup......why? If you've got 400# of seat pressure on a hydro setup you're screwed from the get-go. Your average H/C LS will likely be under ~150# on the seat and under ~400# open (some may be a tad more...not much).

Seems like there's been a lot of 'bad batches' of yella terra's. That said, my Jesel's were part of a bad batch and cracked at the tips. The difference is, Jesel told me to send the whole set back and rebodied every one of them for free, no questions asked....

What amount of lift are you concern about with the Yella Terra rockers???

On my previous build, the LS6 stock rockers trunion upgraded handled 7400rpm everyday with a 0.630 intake lift for 30000 miles without causing any damage to the valve guides...and without any valve-train instability!!!

That is not theory, but facts.

Not concerned on the lift per se, but the amount of static force being applied to the rocker at full open.

Understood...you are speaking of "static forces" (A Static force is a force that is frictional, and pulls two things together.)

To make that short:

- What kind of camshaft lift vs spring pressure is overrated for the Yella Terra Rocker?

A static force would be a height/stiffness calc. No inertial forces.

There are two questions, is the rocker heavily loaded or conversely, is the rocker not being correctly controlled.

I don't feel this is the place to debate about "static force"...I let it to you

Do you, or the factory, have numbers in term of camshaft lift and spring pressure limitation for the Yella Terra rocker before compromising the aluminum integrity at the weakest spot?

As you ask this specific question in your post # 19 you must have the answer...
