Turn Signals
Hi, I am having a problem with my turn signals not working on my 2000 vet. When they quit I can turn on my 4 way flashers and let them blink maybe 2 to 3 times and shut them off and try the signals and they will work for awhile usually and sometimes for quite awhile. I've checked the fuse for them in the fuse box under the passenger foot well and took out all of the small fuses and put them back in in the fuse box in the engine compartment and it still does the same thing. So was wondering if anyone has had the same problem or has any suggestions? Thanks for any help on this. Russ

I have a 2000 Vert Vet also. The last year or so, I started to have the same problem. I bought the relay harness which installs under the dash. Its made to reduce hyper flash on aftermarket tail lenses.
It worked on the flasher also. 15 minute job

Thanks Jack for your reply. I will try working the switch in and out a few times and see if that helps. So you think that the hazard switch is what's causing the signals to not work! Do you know how the hazard switch comes out? Thanks again, Russ

It worked on the flasher also. 15 minute job

You don't have to buy the plug you can use 2 female spade connectors to the flasher.

Do a search and you will find the fix for this. The turn and emergency flasher is 1 unit. What people are doing instead of replacing the whole flasher unit in the dash (where the button is) is locating the wires from your turn signal switch and installing a regular flasher from the auto parts store under the steering wheel. You can do this for under $10.00

I used this fix on our '02 coupe. I used Tridon flasher EL-12, got it at autozone.
Simple, remove knee panel, follow the link, replace panel, done!

Yes it will fix your issue. You do not need leds installed for it to work.

I and others have used this very same fix, it's quick, clean and will Permanently fix the signal problem.
Cost? $9.00 for the high quality Tridon flasher.
Edit: You connect it by sitting on the seat not "upside down under the steering wheel".
