My convertible top has not been properly adjusted since I got it 18 months ago. It had worn through the paint on the tonneau where it seals along the back. The windows have hit and worn out the canvas in the top corners and some of the support arms hit spots on the tonneau during the up/down process and were wearing pea-size holes. So I found this nice illustrated adjustment write-up on the forum and gave it a try.
Oops! Unfortunately, a pivot adjustment on one of the arms broke off. The one on the driver's side adjusted fine but the one on the passenger side had been turned drastically differently than the one on the driver's side and as soon as I tried to turn it . . . snap! I have tried to find it on some of the GM parts sites but the illustrations are very generic and do not show this level of detail. It may be part of one of the (expensive) bows. I may have to go to the dealer to see if it can be identified and what it costs. Anyone an expert on these things?
Here is a pic of the part that broke - it snapped right where the white arrow is pointing.

My pass broke as well. I been trying to find a fix for this for months. Been thinking about going to a machine shop to see if it can be duplicated.
If you can come up with the name of the part or even find the replacement part please post it.

The paint wear issue, unfortunately, will require more than an adjustment.
GM issued a TSB to correct the tonneau paint wear problem. This requires the installation of a redesigned 5th bow weatherstrip seal. The new seal is designed to better contact the black rub strip, on the tonneau cover, and nearly eliminates contact of the painted surface. The GM part number for the seal is 10319827.
Maybe mine has broke as well, the driver's side has developed a gap between the bottom of the top and the tonneau cover, big enough I can fit my pinky finger through.
It was not always like this, I just figured it was age, or needed a adjustment.

Yes, I was vaguely aware of that but had not planned to do anything about it until I replace my top (probably this winter) and was going to have that taken care of then.

I finally found someone who has them - a salvage yard in Cleveland. I just ordered a set - passenger side and driver side - for $100. If you still need it, let me know and I will PM you the contact information.

Well, if that is what the problem is, let me know. I just ordered a set of these and only need the passenger side. We could do a deal if this is the part you need.
