LS2 402 - Need top end advice
Coming off my LS1 are the following:
FAST 102 Intake
NW 92 TB
TSP 102mm MAF
Stock injectors
Stock fuel pump
Stock gears
LG LT headers
I want to keep the car street-capable w/ a decent idle. I little rough idle I don't mind, just don't want to lose power steering/brakes, have frequent stalling, etc. I plan to go nitrous once I get a rebuilt transmission. I don't expect the transmission to last long with the new motor but a couple thousand miles would be nice
.Here are my questions:
1) Is the 242/248, 112 cam too big for this setup and my driveability preferences? If so, thoughts on a more suitable cam are welcome!
2) Should I upgrade my fuel pump and injectors since they are stock?
3) Looking at the TFS 235cc heads, any objections there?
4) What springs, rods and rollers should I get? Engine came with upgraded individualized rocker arms from TSP.
Thank you for any help you all can provide!

1 - That's a pretty big cam but if tuned right, you shouldn't have any issues with stalling.
2 - definitely upgrade the fuel pump (racetronics 255lph pump) and injectors (Ford 42lb injectors)
3 - 2 thumbs up for the TFS 235's... If you get heads from TEA, inform them of your cam specs and they'll install the proper springs
4) TEA will also sell you the proper pushrods and rocker arms (harland sharp)
Trickflow 235cc, 70cc heads
Yella Terra Ultralite Rockers 1.7
Kenne Bell boost a pump
ati 10% underdrive super damper
Lunati/morel lifters
Ported oil pump
Going to pick up a TC at @2800
Already have a transmission cooler but I have a feeling that I'll be sending off my transmission for a build shortly after a couple runs hehe.
Thanks for all the help. Since I'm tearing the engine down and building it back up I'll take photos along the way and keep you guys updated. I'm sure I'll have questions as I'm an electronics dude and a n00b at engine building/rebuilding. Appreciate you all's help!
