The second set I bought in March of 2018 were from buyavette_inc on eBay for $179.00. I installed them in March 2018 and the Black color matches the Black interior like factory. The quality of these are like a brand new GM product. The safety sticker looks lithographed or printed in the material somehow un-removable and permanent. These were delivered ready to install with new circular turn snap locks requiring no additional parts. These were E-Z out of the box installation and matched the car like OEM.
Check these sun visors out and do your research. Call buyavette_inc and ask about the install lock rings. I know buyavette_inc visors were ready to install and play. I’ve owned my 02 C5 Vert 11 years. My only mistake was not joining Corvette Forum sooner. The projects I’ve done and the lessons I’ve learned from members here have saved me $$$$$$ and time.
Thanks all members! Mule.

Thanks Mule,

A quick question about your install:

Are they tight in all positions from the windshield to window and stay in position while driving with the roof down (if vert) like the originals?

Thanks in advance!

The "buyavette_inc" visors sound just like the visors I got from Eckler's. The visors are very good and the warning is imprinted into the fabric (no sticker). That said, the rod bezels on mine are/were junk, junk, junk. With considerable effort, I managed to more-or-less force the driver's side visor rod bezel to rotate into the lock position, at which point it deformed and broke. Switched to the OEM rod bezel and it snapped in just like OEM. There have been several reviews over time of some well done refurbishment of original visors. Personally, that would be the path I would suggest.

hi there. The answer is yes buyavette_inc sun visors are as functional and as well engineered as the original factory sun visors were when I bought my C5 with 4,000 miles in 2006. These sun visors stay put wherever you adjust them. Exception is when driving the car is driven as fast or faster than 100 MPH or so with the top down.
I didn’t mention the first set I ordered were very loose and never stayed in place leaving them totally non functional. When the vanity mirror fell off the drivers side visor I was relieved I could throw em out. I did throw em out in the garbage and marked that company in a never again category.
This time I researched for days yes for sun visors days? Looking very carefully I chose buyavette_inc because of the defining description a dozen or so pictures and Made In USA finally convinced me to give em a try.
This time I carefully opened the box in case I had to return them.
Like I said I would call to make sure they’re still available with the turn locks. My order did in March 2018.

Thanks to Corvette Forum, Mule

My 04 Lemans Corvette needs new shale sunvisors, at least for the driver side. I’d prefer to get a match set but only the driver side is funky. Who sells the proper color and size for an 04 Corvette? jim@scumbackspeakers.com

As far as I've seen, your best bet is a restoration, and the only non-DIY I've seen is at Topflight, originally Corvette America. $144, plus two way shipping, I'm sure, but the depiction shows what looks to be shale:

I need new visors, the lid plastic hinge broke on both, not in a way they can be repaired, and the drivers side visor light never turns off I just realized, ugh. You can hold that button all day.

I checked Buyavette and don't see parts listed, I'll call Monday.

I found these in black which is not ideal (50th Anni '03 in shale, I guess is the interior color) but, whatever, I'd like to have non-broken visors that don't stay lit 24x7!

Anyone have experience with these:

I bought aftermarket and they did not fit and I mangled them trying so no refund. I went with gmpartsdirect.com and they fit perfectly.

Thank you but, I looked and they have some visor accessory parts but no visors. Bummer.
So back to my question:
Anyone have experience with these:
https://www.corvettepartscenter.com/...isors-pair-new $150.00 and only in black, I need 'tan' or whatever it's called in a 50th Anni.

or
