Stock mufflers with cat delete?
I currently have only a slp loudmouth catback, and while I like the sound going WOT, I hate the idle. I'm thinking of ordering some electric curious and having them installed where the cats are at, and putting back on the stock mufflers. Has anyone done this? I think it would be pointless to leave the lm catback on with curious since they're straightpipe anyway. I really want a pretty aggressive sound

I have an 02 ZO6. It has heads/cam/headers. I am installing a new tranny and clutch and have the headers OPEN. I cranked it up this weekend (Open Headers) and if its in the garage, it will almost make your ears bleed.

Better be wearing ear plugs. Oh,,, is NOT a nice race car sound either. Real crude, and more pops and crackles than a whole box of rice crispies on decell.

Haha I had an 04 gto with straight pipes and open headers at one point, I know how loud it is, that's why I want the stock mufflers on without cats. Still loud without sounding like crap and liveable. Then when I want to scare off a mustang, open the cutouts and give it a little rev haha. I got tickets before for being too loud, the ticket literally said I blew someone's ear drums out. Even after I put mufflers on it was still really loud but it sounded damn good. And I miss it but I'm lacking the thousands of dollars for a full exhaust and have a buddy who can weld exhausts si I figured why not give it a shot?
