LS-1 vs LS6 Throttle bodies.
I have a 99 Ls1 stock I want to find out what are the flow differences between the the LS1 and the LS6 throttle bodies? Also what are the differences? How can I identify the LS6 body?

LS1 and LS6 throttle bodies are exactly the same... Quite a few threads on this; search is your friend.
If I'm not mistaken they are even the same part #.

Your flow difference would be increased by going to an LS6 intake.

Yes I know. But the end result is increased performance. It lies in the intake since throttle bodies are the same.

Buy one of these, glue it onto your LS1/LS6 throttle body and you can wow the cruise-in crowd:

Even the ls6 intake is only good for a couple of HP (Less than 10 I think).

Maybe I am wrong but I thought the LS1 Tb ( 98 to 2001 ) was 72mm and the LS1/LS6 2002 was 78mm
I have a PP TPiS 78mm TB

Throttle bodies are the same. Your probably thinking about the MAF. It was smaller diameter on the pre 2001 model years.
