coolant leak???

coolant leak???
ok i bought the car in august and i love it
. the previous owner guaranteed me there were no leaks. he said the car was in perfect condition. well im geting ready for winter so i bought a tarp and put it under the car. this weekend i decided to take it for a ride. i forgot my wallet in the garage so i went back in only to find coolant on the tarp. i put the vette back in and the next morning went out to check on it. the leaked coolant seems to be directly under the main drive pulley. is there any know problems with c5 corvettes leaking coolant. can you guys give me any tip on trying to find the source of the leak? i wanted to upload pictures but my computer hates me and wont let me.

As the others have mentioned, I'd bet it's the water pump. Replacing it is pretty straight forward as long as you've done that sort of thing before. The pump itself is not very expensive. A good aftermarket version is even less.
