Default abs/traction

so i have had the problem for a while.... C1232 LF Wheel Speed Circuit Open or Shorted. but for some reason it seems to come on less and less. I can now drive past 60mph with out the car slowing down. i havent done anything. the only time the code comes on is when im going 30mph plus and hit a bump in the road hard. I know my rear shocks are blown and im guessing my fronts are getting there. would my shocks have to do with this code coming on? The bump causes the short? I used to get C1225 RF Excessive Wheel Speed Variation but dont anymore even after the abs/traction light come on. I just bought 4 new shocks to do over christmas break from college and im wondering if this will stop the lights from coming on?

C1225 is LF, some lists are wrong. Check the pins are not flattened in the female connectors at each end of the wheel harness.

The pins should look like the ones on the left. The right hand ones are worn.

I unplugged all mine, cleaned them and applied dielectric grease on them. Put them all back together and haven't had a problem since. (4 years driven daily, rain or shine.)
