Brake Bias
The many threads about the unservicable EBCM on 97-00 cars got me to thinking.
How balanced is the brake bias with the ABS system disabled? Probably get more answers from the road racers but since this subject comes up here all the time. I have tracked both my MG and TR8 and niether has any type of ABS or TC. I do have a custom setup in the TR with a manual bias valve.
I would think the TC issue would simply be one of throttle control. I have got used to respecting throttle input with other high performance cars. Most cars come from the factory with more front bias dialed in for the same reason most are set up to understeer. The average driver is going to get in trouble if the rear steps out. But I'm curious if anyone has experiance with dry pavement braking a Vette with the electronic gizmos turned off.
