Default Clutch problem???

Ok i installed a new slave cyl. in my vette about 5 months ago along with a new clutch and flywheel... Latley i have been noticing a strange noise at idle... The mystery noise stops when i press the clutch in and returns when i let off... its a loudish chattering noise... Any ideas at what this may be??? THanks for any help!

Does NOT sound good... Sounds like a bad throw out bearing but it should be nearly brand new...

Could flywheel bolts be rubbing?? I'm not sure if there's an inspection cover but I'd
get under there and take a look...

I would get it on a rack and see what you could hear then.

Wondering if some of the bolts are backing out?

Where did the new parts come from, what brand, and did you contact the supplier to see if maybe they had a bad batch?

Is it a twin clutch?? I have the MST Mcleod twin and sometimes i get a knocking sound from the disks from the rotation of the engine when i press the clutch in it goes away. It's normal it's not majorly loud but noticable.GL

Who convinced you that the "knocking sound" is normal?
