Recently turned cold, almost 30 here in Florida. Drove the car several miles and had to go hard on the throttle to get out into traffic. Car fell on its face like it took in too much air. Now the car drives fine but will not go over half throttle or it starts to bog down. Could this be a MAF issue as I have a ram air kit installed with a ported throttle body? I am assuming that this is the original MAF and may need replaced. Both ram air and throttle body have been on the car for almost two years without issues. I have been told that frigid air can cause MAF issues with the older C5's. Thanks for the help.

Found my issue. Stupid me forgot that not only does the ram air suck in lots of fresh air, but also trash. I had a small plastic bag stuck covering about half of the filter. Kicks butt now. Thanks for the help.
I did the STOCK C5 Air Filter Housing Cover CUT mod on my 98 Coupe when I first got it. That involves cutting out the center section of the filter housing and exposes the filter to more air.
We had a severe rain storm and the next day the temps went down to 20 deg. You will be AMAZED how bad the car runs with a soaked frozen air filter!
