Temporary Electrical drain bypass
This is NOT a repair 
However, if your experiencing an electrical drain you can't find, this will buy some time. 
I have an electrical drain that kills NEW batteries within a few days.
I know nothing about the electronics on my C5 and after killing 2 new batteries I finally just disconnected it.
I tried to find the drain with my volt meter. After 8 hours I was still stumped.
Figured disconnecting the battery stopped the drain so why not make it easy for me to do this until I get the car to an electrical shop.
Bought a Battery disconnect switch from Summit for $14.95 PN 74104
hooked it up 2 weeks ago and there has been NO BATTERY DRAIN.
It will be another 3-4 weeks before my C5 gets to the shop for diagnosis and repair. At least now if I need it, I can use the car.
Just screw it onto your battery and then screw in your battery cable. If you want power tighten the hand nut. If you want to cut power, loosen the hand nut.

The battery disconnect is a nice idea. Drains can be a pain to find. I use an amp meter in series with the battery and remove one fuse at a time. It isolates the area to look................good luck

Thanks... Like I said not a fix but at least a temporary patch. Cheap and effective.
Batteries cost too much to drain them dead every few days.
