Leaving Headlights up manually?

Leaving Headlights up manually?

If I open the headlights manually and leave them up, will it cause any problems with the motors or controls? I just like the look. Used to have a '71 and had an override so I could leave the light s up at will. If traveling at speed would likely manually retract them.

"If you turn on the headlights, then go to parking light position, the lamps remain up but the headlights are not left on."

Yeah they will close when you turn them off.

If you like the look then you can raise them and disconnect the motors.

Select On and back off to park. You could pull the headlamp motor fuses (3&4 under hood) but this is the easiest way.

But then he'd have to keep doing that every day after he turned the parking lights off.

When I see a car driving down the road in the day with the lamps up (not necessarily a Corvette), the first thing I think is the person is too lazy to figure out what's wrong with them and fix it. Looks ridiculous too me but the OP didn't state why he wishes to do this. Maybe he's got a good reason. Now what does look cool in the day time is running with the fogs on but again, there you need to turn on the parking lamps, keeping the headlamps down.
