How does one know weather ones "98",C5 coupe, is an A4, MN6 or MN12.

It refers to the transmission, automatic = A4, coupe with a manual is MN6 and the ZO6 has the MN12 manual transmission.

YES! The FRC comes with the MN6 tranny. Its just a FRC with all the base C5 Coupe items and engine. You could have optioned to get different handling packages and rear end ratios but, the tranny only came in A4 or MN6

I thought the FRC only came with Z51, 3.42 gears, manual, power drives seat and manual passenger while all others things could be optioned the same.
