I'm thinking of changing the stock pads with Raybestos QS Ceramincs. A few members have them and are happy with them. Are the part numbers PGD731QS for the front and PGD732QS for the rear?

They are excellent brake pads (I had them on my '99 Camaro SS and will use them on my 'Vette when the time comes) and, yes, those are the correct numbers for the C5.
Thx guys. I got 3 offers for the pads. Just waiting 'til Mon PM to see if Hex wants them. :)
Oh, I've also got an extra set of 75% EBC Green Kevlars.
They definitely dust. Good initial bite. Bit hard on the rotors, but coulda been since I'd resurfaced twice before the EBC's.
Email me if anyone wants to try the EBC's. $40 for the set.
They make no noise, and produce almost NO dust, but they do not stop your car as good as the OEM ones in my opinion. I have had them on my car for a year now and can't say they impress me with their stopping power. I will continue to use them for driving on the street until they are gone, but I change to PFC's for any track events.

Stopping power is not as good at autocross events or everyday driving/¼ runs?
I don’t race in autocross but I do take the car to the ¼ track often. Stock pads are more than enough to stop the car at the track. Don’t have to really use the brakes hard as I race in 3rd not Drive.
Thanks for the info XTrooper. I’m getting tired of cleaning the wheels. I spend three hours cleaning/detailing the car, I go for a ride or at the track for a few hours and when I’m back, break dust all over the place!
If all you do is street driving and the odd 1/4 mile run, these pads will work fine... I just didn't find they were quite as responsive as the stock pads, but they do have many good points (dust, sound, etc) that make me keep them on my car for street pads.
