Steering Wheel Position Sensor
Hello All,
I drive a 2000 C-5 and I am in need of a steering wheel position sensor. It is to my understanding that the manufacturer went out of business and now the dealership or myself can't find one. Does anyone know of a reliable source where one can be purchased. I'm in the dumps with the car not being available to me at this time.

Try forum Vendor - Gene Culley at GM Parts house. If he can't find one then try Corvette Recycling for a used one. Both have links to their web sites on the list to the left hand side of the screen. Good Luck.

A used sensor will not work. Once it's installed on the column you pull out a pin. Once that's out you can't reinstall the same sensor because it wont give an acurate center.
