Default Air Tube Question???

I just had XSPower headers installed in my 98, The air tube connection on the headers are capped off and the air tubes are shooting air out into the engine bay, should the air tubes be capped off too?

Yes They should be capped off as well. If you can take the intake off you can pull that whole system out. Then after you have all the hoses out, jack the front end of the car in the air and pull the air pump out. It's underneath the driver's headlight. There should be four screws that hold a plastic plate in. You'll see it just behind the front bumper.

There should be a how-to on this forum. Make sure to buy new intake gaskets for the re-install. Your local auto parts shop should have them.

Or buy a 2001-2004 passenger side air tube which will fit your headers. Your current drivers side will connect up.
