power loss on 2003 corevette

Default power loss on 2003 corevette
We purchased new a 2003 corvette 50th anniversary convertible and in a few years had a power loss problem while driving. We do not drive it hard. The dealer could not find a problem and after about 2 years of this problem, replaced the fuel pump and the problem went away for a few years. This problem is back again. The car runs good around town; however, on a trip of over 120 miles there will be a loss of power so the car jerks with the cruise control on. When accelerating the engine wants to die but will run if you try and maintain minimum load on the engine.

Can anyone help with this problem?

Check the easy things first..

Fuel and spark at each cylinder. Could also be clogged cats.

AND, get a mechanical fuel pressure guage on it when it happens.

Have you changed out the fuel filter recently? How many miles are on the car?
