Arrr ! Strange noise
I have a strange noise on the Vette. It seems to come through my shifter.
Quizz : what do you think it is?
Clue : I look pissed because it happened just after I have finished the "ease in" period of my new 3.90 rear diff ...

i am no expert, but if they removed the exhaust pipes they could have inadvertently loosened one of the heat shields. should be an easy check and then an easy repair if so. i just dont think that it is anything major due to the noise only coming at a certain rpm and vibration range
