Default Help, car won't start, security lock?

***** DISREGARD - THIS SHOULD SAY LOOK WHAT'S HAPPENS WHEN YOU REMOVE BCM ******
Thanks anyways guys! Please learn from my mistakes!

Okay, spent the last 20 hours doing complete removal of Bose and a damn fine job of new Focals in the doors, custom A- Pillar Tweeter mounts, nice 5-channel Amp to drive everything......(pictures coming, but this first)

Got everything wrapped up and car won't start, engine won't even crank....

Ok dead battery from having all doors hatches open for 20 hours, no problem charging the battery, battery is charged and still NOTHING !

So here the quirks:
- Odd thing is Courtesy lights don't come on?
- Gauge cluster lights up, throws low fuel warning, service active handling, service engine soon messages.
- Headlights and blinkers work, but Fog LIghts don't work ?
-Key fob locks and unlocks the doors but driving lights don't flash and horn doesn't honk?
- The power windows don't work and I most certainly connected the door harness when reassembling evrything,
- all of the wiring was just internal speakers, I had already ran amp wires , and deck was already PAC RCA from previous, so I did not touch anything, except removing BOSE Amp? that is the only major thing was removing the Bose Amp ?

Help, what gives, did the car go into some security lock ?

Craziest crap ever seen ?
Any help greatly Apprecritated!

So after researching the codes, none of them appear as great issues, EXCEPT, the No Comms, are they the issues and if so, what now? What did I do, disconnecting Bose amp triggered something? Aarrrgghhh!

There are some REAL electrical experts on this forum that will probably chime in at a more reasonable hour; but until then let's try to isolate the problem. You almost definitely screwed something up in the wires going through the door accordion tubes during your speaker install.

Start by locating the two serial buss star connectors to the left of your BCM. Disconnect the one with the least number of wires going to it then try to start your car. If your car does start you'll get no comms to LDCM RDCM and SCM modules; nothing to worry about as you caused that when you disconnected the star connector. Doing that will tell you if you have a problem with your serial buss...

You're in good hand with these guys. I would also mention to start with checking all the fuses, underhood and unders the passenger floor fuse panel.

If you cut through more than one wire at a time you could have shorted something during your modifications and simply blew a fuse.

Did you have the BCM out for any reason? Did you check all of the fuses in the passenger footwell fuse box?

The U series DTCs and the NO COMMS issues points toward a problem in the door wiring harness connectors. Thats where you were last. You most likely have a connection issues in the female pins.

Pop out the accordion tube between BOTH doors and carefully examine the connectors. Look for deformed female pins. If you find any, you can reshape the bent tong and that will allow it to make proper contact with the male pin/s

Your problem is in the right door but your best to inspect BOTH while you have time. Disconnect BOTH connectors and look for deformed female pins:

After the FIX,, reassemble and clear ALL the DTCs and see whats up.

Awesome information guys, you guys rock!

So oddly just finger pushing the speaker wires through the door accordion tubes did all this ?

Did not re use any existing car wires, and did not touch or disconnect anything in the accordions, I did run wires down from the A-Pillars, maybe a connector was loose and me just touching it came apart?

I pray for quick fix, sounds like you guys got me pointed in right direction!

Thanks and talk to you in an hour!

Guys,
Great advice and the picture of star clips, etc..was worth a thousand words..

First off I profess my stupidity, the Bose amp I removed as seen and advised upon in every C6 thread made do the stupidest thing in the world....

How about take out my BCM!

This would do well with a home theater install , not so much for a car!

Hey, crap happens and we all learn. Make sure your battery is disconnected BEFORE you plug back in the BCM
