Question on FAST 92 intake.....

Question on FAST 92 intake.....
What is this Hole here for? Every other fast I see has the provision there and sais something but I cant read it. Mine has this red piece with a hole in it. Thanks guys

Looks like they punched a hole in it to relocate the MAP sensor from the front to the back.
Mine was new and I have the MAP sensor located at the back where its originally designed to go.
The MAP sensor normally goes in the back as seen below. Do you have this part in the back ? I have heard of the C6 guys cutting the back off of the Fast92's because it hit there firewall.

That's for the map relocation kit. Some say under heavy engine torque, the map sensor can make contact and either get damaged or become loose.

Yes, appears it was bought used. Did the previous owner have an f-body or a Vette?

Previous owner had a vette. Ill just plug that hole then, I am going to mount the MAP in the stock location. Thanks again guys!

That is what I did with mine, relocated it in the front to avoid that. No issues by moving it up front.

Moving it to the FRONT makes life sooooooo much easier,,
Seen too many people with leaky MAP sensors when installed in the rear/

hmmmm....Is there some sort of extenstion you have to buy to relocate it?
