Gentilmen
Need help on what's the best header gasket to use on the LS engines, I installed new headers and the factory gaskets they provided, gaskets lasted 2 days before one started leaking on passenger side and it has a code P1153 now. Need to fix this week but I want the best gastet and I know you guys have done this for a long time and have the correct answers. Thanks alot....

Pretty sure the factory GM gasket is the best.

This is what I used on my headers and all my friends too! Work like a champ and the Multi Layer Steel (MLS) is the best you can get
Thanks,Matt

if you're blowing the factory gasket you need to check the header flange to make sure it's flat. I have seen it before that the flange has to be belt sanded to make it flat so it seals correctly.

If you didn't destroy them, then just pull the old factory ones out of the trash and put them back on...

The gaskets that came with my header were junk. I put the three piece factory used gaskets back on and have no problems.
