Default Is a semi rough idle normal?

I have a what seems like a miss at idle. Is this normal? I rented a C6 in Vegas and it did the same thing. Is this a characteristic of an LS motor? I have no SES lights. And the car runs mint while driving.

There is some "shake" at idle, seems it is from the cam overlap and motor mounts.

Drive and enjoy

I was wondering the same thing. My transam with the lt1 did the same as my vette with the ls1. As soon as you hit the gas though no problem. All I can think is maybe the engine isn't balanced perfectly. Just my 2 cents.

This is a LS characteristic that some of the engines have you can do a million things to try and change it but get nowhere. On my first c5 i spent hundreds of hours and dollars trying to fix a "hiccup" then a GM tech schooled me on the LS idle. So drive it like you stole it ..... unless it really is a misfire :/

My answer to that was a 24 year old kid with a laptop and HP Tuners. My cam shakes the car at idle but it idles smooth, no misses. Most of the time a miss is a bad fuel air mixture. Getting that right is not as easy as some think and not every tuner can get it right.
