It's a water surfactant. Basically, it means it makes the water slippery breaking surface tension, allowing coolant to move easier and air to move out of the motor.

It'll work fine with your DEXCOOL. Don't expect major temperature reductions. It will stabilize temperatures. I've used it for years in AZ summer temperatures.

Works much better with H2O and no coolant. As much as 15 F difference. With that said, best for track use or if you like frequent coolant changes. Leave it in and forget it and you'll get some nice reminders down the road.

Used it years ago in a 5.0 liter Mustang GT that ran hot in traffic in summer. It made no discernible difference. Ended up getting the radiator rodded and that fixed it.

two bottles works better.

No real need to 50/50 Dex mix. but a 90/10 water/dex then add 2 bottles of WW

It works best with plain water.

Default Double Dose!

It is recommended you put two bottles in a Corvette.

One place you can read this recommendation is in the Mid America Motorworks catalog.

I used two bottles when I installed a 160 degrees. 198 degrees down to 178 degrees.
