1. Turn the ignition to ON.
2. Press the RESET button in order to clear any IPC display warning messages.
3. Press and release the OPTIONS button on the DIC to scroll through the display options until the IPC display is blank.
4. Press and hold the DIC RESET button for 3 seconds.
5. Press the OPTIONS button again until the TIRE TRAINING message appears.
6. Press the RESET button until the IPC LEARN L FRONT TIRE message appears in order to begin the programming sequence.
7. Install the magnet over the left front valve stem.
8. The horn will sound, indicating the left front TPM sensor is programmed.
Important
If the horn does not sound after 15 seconds, remove then reinstall the TPM sensor programming tool ( strong magnet). This procedure may have to be attempted up to three times in some instances.
9. When the horn sounds, proceed to program the next TPM sensor in the following order as directed by the IPC messages:
order is LF,RF,RR,LR.
you can get a good magnet for cheap at places like Northern tools. I got a 60LB for 6 dollars.

my suggestion is buy the conversion kit to the new sensors from GM Partshouse...on sale last I saw for $395 which is like 50% off...less than buying 4 of the old style sensors....but thats me..

Yes, your TPM sensor(s) are done. They have a battery within that will typically last about 8-10 years. As suggested, the best way to handle this is to upgrade the system.

I have similar issues. Research shows Schrader Bridgeport p/n 28006 is a direct replacemnt for the GM p/n 25981210 sensors ($183.24) for about $82 each complete with nuts and caps. That would be easier than converting the whole system and is the way I'll go.
