Default Electrical Question... HELP!

I installed an isimple device to the back of my radio, as well as new seat covers and foam (electric seats). Now my battery is dead and when I do get juice there is a loud buzzing sound coming from the fuse box under the passenger side panel. also the bell goes off intermitantly as if I left my key in the ignition, there is no info on the drivers console (DIC). I have taken the isimple out thinking that may have been the problem but still no luck. Can any one help with some info? I also installed a new boot cover for the e-brake and the shift (automatic). The seats have not been reinstalled yet. There goes the bell again, just keeps dinging. Thanks.

Sounds like you pinched a wire while tightening things back down. Just my guess.

undid everything and it sits all apart and free from any pinching. BTW, the buzzing and bell dinging go on without the key in the ignition. I am recharging the battery off the car to see if this makes a difference. Thanks for the input!

Something is not allowing the BCM to go into the SLEEEP mode. The first place that I would look is the seat multifunction switch & lumbar switch and make sure that there not stuck ON.

What is your sleep battery current draw?

What is your sleep battery current draw?

There are a whole host of things that could be staying on. from interior lighting (check that in the dark) to the rear window defroster relay sticking on..

Read the battery current draw after the car is in sleep mode (approx 12 min) and see what it is, The max should be .02 amps

thanks again for your help. I charged the battery and that seems to have stopped the problem. Dumb *** me worked on the seats and console with the doors open and battery still connected for several days. Its all back together and working fine. Ya gotta love this site for its vast amount of knowledge and the quickness at which members respond to help. Thanks again guys...
