Second tank not flowing over

Drove the car to the office (18 miles) was showing around 1/3-1/2 tank.. Took it to lunch, put another 3 miles on it.. I did stab it once in second and it fell on its face.. Did not think much of it, went back to work..
Left the office, headed over to a friends house, running fine then went around the block to another persons house and it died in the driveway.. Fuel pressure is now below 0, gas tank still showing between a third and half tank.. it is dead.. We throw in 2 gallons of fuel, it fires right up, have my pressure back and all is well. Head to the gas station thinking my gauge must be way off and it only took 10.6 gallons, which is about the size of the DR side tank..
So, obviously something is not flowing over.. I have not had a chance to get it on a lift to look at it however, is there something common that it could be, or what would be the first things to check?
Car is an 02 ZO6.
Thanks,

You have 2 options, both of which involve removing the right-side "siphon-jet" fuel pump assembly.
1. Remove yours and clean/remove debris that is quite possibly clogging the small orifice in the venturi (will reuire some disassembly, or
2. Replace the assembly.
Good news is, this does NOT involve dropping your tank and is not terribly expensive (I know, relative term).
If replacement is your thing, you'll need:
