Headlights goin' dim.
I just got a BRIGHT red 01' Z06 with 36,000 miles
BUT I noticed in the mornings on the way to work my headlights will kinda flicker dim at random 
Any ideas?

When you say random, do you mean when you're not touching the brake or power window switches? Either of those can make the headlights dim momentarily, as can a loose connection on the battery cables or at the red wire on the starter solenoid coming from the battery that ties the alternator and battery together.

I noticed on my '99 when I would leave from work every night (2nd shift), that about 10 miles down the freeway, my headlights would dim each and every night about the same time. I finally figured out that it was the alternator, commanded by the PCM, switching from a high rate charge to a lower rate charge, from the cold start-up and the need to replace the battery power consumed in the start-up.
