There are a number of connectors on the fender side of the battery. Is the 10 pin connector flat or round? Looks like I will need to take out the battery to gain sufficient access. By the way what did you do to correct your burnt connector?
Anymore ideas on what may be causing my problems? I appreciate the input. Again new battery got rid of door errors but not all car still will not start after sitting for about an hour. Disconnect and reconnect the negative battery cable and it starts right up. Sit an hour and same problem all over again. Codes seem to indicate some sort of issue communicating with the BCM. The new error codes are 58 SDM - U1000H and U1064H; BO RFA - U1000H and U10064H.

I'm glad changing the battery solved part of your problem, but I'm at a total loss as to why disconnecting and reconnecting the battery lets the car start once, but no more after that. Someone with more knowledge that I will have to take things from here. The only thing I can think of is a bad computer.
Anyone have any more suggestions? I am at a stalemate on this thing. I am extremely hopeful I do not have to replace the BCM. Anyone had these types of issues or have the knowledge to give me some help. Thanks in advance.
Thanks. I read the post on BCM sleep mode. On that one they are just going to replace the BCM with a used BCM. They post about two different grounds and power sources for the BCM (high and low). Wonder were the grounds and power sources are located. I guess the power is still off of the one battery even though they mention battery 1 and battery 2? If I read the two threads correctly it is a BCM sleep issue? I need to figure out what to do short of replacing the BCM to correct my problem if possible. I will try a couple of the things listed in the threads. Thanks.
The C5 ignition switch can be an issue providing the correct voltage to modules. BCM 1 7 2 are in the fuse box and you can read the voltage on each fuse with a volt meter to ground. The voltage should be the exact same as battery voltage read of the battery terminals.

I pulled out fuse #25 and put it back in the passenger fuse box and the car started. From the previous thread link you provided I believe this is telling me there is some sort of issue with the BCM. I now need to determine if there are any fixes I can do. I am mechanically inclined but not an auto mechanic. I am game to try things though especially since the fuse #25 reset worked. I see where it can be jury rigged but wonder if there is another way short of a new BCM. How do I remove or check the BCM board? I can see the silver box in the passenger footwell.
Anymore ideas? As I posted after pulling and putting back in fuse #25 in th passenger footwell fuse box the car started. Then after about 30 minutes same issue and it would not start again. Looks like the BCM it is not coming out of the sleep mode.
I was lucky enough to find a local guy (Steve) who previously owned a Corvette store with tremendous Corvette experience, tools and equipment that ran all the tests and narrowed my issue down to the BCM itself which needed replacement. Per Steve I ordered a Cardone re-manufactured BCM through a local Orreily auto parts. The total cost was around $180 with a $40 core charge so my net price was about $140 compared to well over $1000 for an OEM. Plus the Cardone BCM comes with a one year guarantee. Steve was able to reprogram the BCM to fit my specific Corvette and options. If you have this type of issue you may look to get a Cardone re-manufactured BCM with the one year warranty. Now you will still have to get the replacement BCM programmed to the accessories in your specific Corvette. So far so good and my Vette works perfectly! Thank goodness and thanks to Steve.
