I have a 99 FRC. I gave the car a thorough wash. Afterwards, I cranked the engine and the window wipers began to wipe. I couldn't get them to stop so I had to remove the fuse. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks.

Oh yeah. I have a 99 and had my wipers start working on their own last week after a hard rain. Basically, the wiper motor and control assembly has gotten water inside. The motor assembly rests under the cowl cover just in front of the driver's side of the windshield. You will need to replace the motor assembly. I got a rebuilt assembly at O'Reilly Autoparts for $65 out the door. I did have to provide the old motor assembly as a core. The replacement takes about an hour. The reason the motor assembly got wet is most likley because the drain tubes under the motor assembly are plugged, thus, allowing water to build up under the motor assembly until it submerges the assembly. When you remove the motor assembly you will see the drainage tubes (three of them). Make certain you clean them out before you install the new motor assembly.
If you search the Tech section for "wipers" you will find a photo log on how to change out the motor assembly.
