I'm getting a 1255HC code. I haven't torn into it yet, but tonight I'm going to flush the system and check all the grounds. I was wondering if there is a thread somewhere that shows how to jump the ABS pump to force it to cycle. I did a search last night until my eyes bled and I understand that getting a new module is pretty much out of the question. The car is for track only, so I will have to learn to live without the ABS. I think before I spend $800 on a used module, I'd get a DRM proportioning valve.
Welcome to the forum, but why in the world would you re-post a 10 year old thread, then add absolutely nothing to it???
Hmm, great question, I did add information about the process and the success. Cannot understand where that information went?
Well, I will figure it out.
2000 Corvette First sharpened a piece of welding rod to connect/pierce into the Green Wire on the pump. Used my battery charger on the 2 amp setting. Once contact from the charger to the rod the motor started, I repeated the process three times at three minute intervals. Rod got hot until amp draw dropped to less 5. Your instructions are Excellent! Now the ABS works!
