New C5 owner. The power windows work just fine (up/down) with the door switch. However, when the "down" side marked "auto" is pushed momentarily to utilize the "auto" down function, it only moves for as long as I hold the switch. If I press and release (normal cycle for a power switch with "auto" function) the window motion stops. Has anyone else had this issue and know what may be the problem (like a relay somewhere)? THANKS IN ADVANCE...
I just did this same post last week. You just have to click it very quick to get the auto to work. Its not like most other cars. Where you hold it down for a few sec. Just anuff to click the button

Got it! Thanks for the info. It does work with a momentary push. I was trying to use it like my Avalanche and the wife's Caddy. Thought it was broke - but have re-trained the gray matter. Liking this C5 much better than my old 69 & 72 Vettes.

If you double-tap, the window will begin to lower and then quickly stop part way. It is then in a "manual" or "regular" mode, so you can adjust it down or up some more without having to wait for it to go all the way down first.
