The wife and me took the vette out last nite for a little bit, and shortly after we came home and parked it, The headlights poped open and came on, this hapened 3 or 4 times during the nite, untill i unpluged both lites to get it to stoped, and when i went in it this morning the headlight buzzer started as soon as i opened the door, i also noted the headlights pop open when you barely touch the stalk, i thought they shouldnt pop open till you turn the stalk all the way open??? Would the problem be in the stalk or the headlight module that i heard about??? I am new to a C5 so any help would be appreciated
I would turn off the twilight sentinel first and see if they work normally. If the switch is still touchy and you have the problem, search for the thread on repairing or replacing the multifunction switch (stalk).

twilight was off i then turned it on then off still no go, then today while driving they kept poping up and on i had to keep trying to twist the stalk backwards it got so bad, i stopped the car and took off the plugs to the headlights, then when i started driving again when i came home light buzzer was going off like it thought the lights are still on, and all with the twilight turned off, do you think its just in the stalk???
Since hardly anyone searches any more, and some forum members think it's rude or smartass to suggest searching for yourself, I searched it for you. Here is a thread on repairing the switch if you are so inclined. You can also replace it if you prefer.
I replaced the multifunction stalk last week. If you have not replaced the switch yet it is really easy to do with the instructions posted here http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-t...-a-how-to.htmlI located a new one online for $150 shipped. PM me for the Web Site since I dont think they are a forum vender. Thanks to Alaskanpilot for the great write up
