I recently got the old "Column Lock" problem displayed on the DIC. Everything on my 2000 Vette convertible worked just fine even after this problem except that I couldn't drive over 2 MPH. I installed a LMC5 bypass from complianceparts.com. Now it runs great again.........BUT the doors apparently don't have any power. Power mirror on right, seat/steering wheel memory, power door locks unlock only, power windows, and switch panel lighting are all inoperative. Locks work with key fob. Seats and steering wheel adjust from their own switches. DIC codes show only (90-HVAC) U 1160 H C, but climate control works fine. LDCM, RDCM, and SCM all display "No Comm." Anyone out there who can give me some assistance on solving this problem? All fuses are good. All wires appear to be connected properly.

Thanks Bill, but shaking the accordian tubes had no affect. I read your thread about that previously so I'll look inside for a bare wire when I get the chance.
No, but I've been assured that it is totally isolated from the problem I'm experiencing.
Just coincident that the problem occured during the install of the LMC5? I don't know.
I may try that this weekend if I can't solve it any other way.
