For 2002, I'm not sure that makes much of a difference, since all models (I think) have the Z06 cats, which I've heard are already pretty good. Can anyone confirm that?
Lou
Will the headers hook up to the standard cat back with x-pipe? In the photo on your website it looks like an h-pipe is used. Also how do your cats compare to the stock C5 cats. (no pups on either). Passing emissions being my question.
I would love to try them out on my intake/exhaust only setup....especially if I could get a set at a lower cost ;).....and I have several dyno's showing 317rwhp and 320 rwtq.....dead on, all the time :D
Would love to see what kinda increase I would get
There was a controversey over this and according to JW they were not really a big gain at all. I beleive he alluded to skulldugerey. Buyer beware.
This seems like the only controversy I've heard of. Everyone else that I know of (from reading this board) that has them has had great results. I wouldn't put much thought into what 1 person has to say about them. :jester
RoliO, IM WhitneyR and ask him if he had great results (lost 20 RWHP/20 RWTQ with LGM's LT's on his H/C done by the Vette Dr's).
Wouldn't be great if we could have an independent organization test and evaluate different products on a mule C5 to put the continuing controversies to bed whether it’s headers, intakes or whatever. I have no opinion on the increases or decreases between one make or another for testing conditions and vehicles could change. We all seem to beat this around since the beginning of time ;) Someone who doesn’t have any professional relationship with the manufacturers could do this testing!… Just give everyone the facts and keep out the opinions with the testing… Does anyone agree with me??? One thing for sure, they are all decent products that individuals have available to them here...
I absolutely agree. Sounds like a fun part-time business opportunity...
