I installed powder coated calipers, new brakes, slotted/drilled rotors, and ss brake lines. I flushed the brake fluid using a Motive Pressure Bottle, and after pumping the brakes to proper pedal, I got a message to check the Active Handling System. It also has the Active Handling System light on which is on the cluster.
Did I do something wrong, or do I have to go through the codes and reset them because the pressure was low at one time? Everything else seems to be ok. I have not driven the car yet because I want to make sure I do what is needed to solve the problem before I do.
Well, I checked all of the Codes. They were all H, or history codes. I wrote all of them down, and then cleared all of them. I started the car and no Active Handling light on the cluster. I pumped the brakes and ran the car for awhile and then I checked the codes again and there are no codes.
Hey ensteele, did you by chance bleed the brakes with the Ign Switch in the on position?
No, the keys were out of the car the whole time. I think because when I started the car with the pressure not up to the right amount (bled but pedal not used yet) it may have brought on the light. Don't know for sure. Everything seems ok now, that is the main thing.
