C5-New Help with 2 error codes
B0361 Left Actuator Feedback Short to GND
B0441 Left Actuator Out of Range
It has to do with your HVAC, the left actuator. You either have to reindex it or replace it.

Heres one of the more serious issues however it can be repaired:

The damage/cracked gear can be repaired by GLUE/epoxy
Try turning OFF the HVAC clearing the DTCs and turning the system ON after the system completes its damper door range test. If you listen closely at the center vent, you can hear the doors/actuators cycle and stop. You may have to do it a bunch of times to get the code to clear.

Someone stated the the early C5s and late C5s function a little different. All I have is an 02 to compare it to.
Give it a shot. Run the AC till you get cold air out of the upper vents. Turn the HVAC system OFF and then right back ON. The temp output of the center vents will go from HOT back to COLD and then to the temp that you have selected.

I think I fixed the problem. While the engine was running and AC was on Auto, I then turned the AC off and then turned the engine off and pulled the key from the ignition. I then reset the codes and then cranked up the engine and turned on the AC to Auto. It put out cold air and I went from one end of the temp range to the other. Full cold to full hot. Then went back to 73 dg on the Auto setting.
So far it has not thrown any more HVAC codes. I sure hope it stays like this.
