Trans cooler options
Hey guys. Im in the process of an auto swap and need to get my cooler figured out. I was supposed to get stock lines with my auto but he didn't give them to me. So my options are:
1. Buy stock lines and a cooler (roughly $150)
2. Make the lines and get a cooler (roughly $80)
3. Get braided/hydraulic lines and mount a cooler w/ fan in the back. Maybe inside rear bumper. (roughly $100-150)

When I did my swap, I got a Mack daddy trans cooler from summit with a fan and thermostat switch.
I used factory lines to the bell housing and made my own from that point forward to my cooler placed in front of my radiator.
You could certainly make lines right from the trans ports too.
My cooler was $200 and I likely spent $100 on making brackets to mount and making the lines with proper fittings.
Always ran cool.
