That is the one I am getting. Many of the forum also recommend this one. The install looks very straight forward. I also spoke with a customer service rep there yesterday. He was super helpful.

I just went thru this for my new to me Z. I have had the CLB in my C5 coupe for 8 years with zero issues, so I ordered one from COH. Seems like the LMC (or whatever it is) is a great product, but I went with what has a proven track record with me.

I got the LMC5 and unlocker from Richard at Compliance. Haven't installed it since I seem to have fixed the problem with Richards help. For me, it was worth 50 bucks for his time and the conversation talking through the system. I really doubt he makes a living selling this stuff. Just a really dedicated Vette enthusiast that is very knowledgeable and willing to share.
I have no experiance with the alternative CLB. As I understand it, they don't offer a way to unlock the column once it locks. Richard does. If you install before the problem occurs , I guess that wouldn't matter.
