I noticed the other day walking out to my car that there was a wet puddle on the passenger side of my car. Seems to be coming from somewhere behind the front right tire. I examine everywhere (as far as I can see) all the hoses under the hood, even under the reservoir tank. And did not see any leaks. I havent had a chance to look from under the car yet to see where exactly is this leak coming from. Has anyone else experience this probelm?
98 c5 with 114k miles. I hope its not the heater core, if so would this be a hard part to replace? HELP ASAP PLEASE!!!
I just replaced my resevoir tank due to a small leak on the bottom corner (same location as yours). Could not see it until it got pressure in it and then saw the small stream shooting out the bottom corner. So, make sure its warmed up before you look.

It may be the same problem as yours. It is wet just under the reservior tank. I thought it was the hoses that connects to it but I dont see it leaking/dripping coolant. Or is it further under the reservior?
the most common leak over there is the reservoir tank but damn thats a lot of coolant....
my suggestion....fill it...start it and watch of the leak
No offense here, but if a cursory look of the coolant reservoir does not immediately reveal 3 nuts and two hoses, and one connector.....you should probably take it to a qualified shop for repair.
Could leak down pretty fast, after it heats up it probably expands where the leak is and leaks more. These tanks have a tendency to deteriorate where the 2 hoses connect at the bottom of the tank. Could be leaking from there as another possibility. Just my $.02
Probably OBE - but I would suggest one of two things:
1. Stop by a well equipped auto parts store and get a little bottle of dye for detecting coolant system leaks. Pour it in - and drive the car a bit - then look for the leak with a blacklight. Typically you'll want to do that at night. The leak will typically be VERY easy to find.
2. Get (buy or borrow) a cooling system pressure tester. It allows you to put presure on the cooling system while the car is off. It will make finding a leak that only shows up under pressure far far easier.
