Paging C5-TECH- Help With Code
Last weekend my baby threw the following DIC code:

C1281H Steering Sensor Uncorrelated Malfunction
WTF?

Do I need to take it in to the dealer? Is there any DIY steps to take? Can I ignore this?

Faulty steering position sensors are common,causing this code :yesnod:Replacing it requires removing the steering column because the sensor is located around the base of the column...Before you tackle this,clear the code and see if the message returns on a frequent basis,in that the sensor may have put out an intermittent voltage spike detected by the brake control module...
