On my 1988 had the no crank and had to wait couple hours to start. Got VATS bypass from corvette central you plug into lower steering column. Worked for a while than started have more issues. Replaced the starter from AutoZone and bypassed starter enable relay in back of information center. Look up VATS sucks and it will give you all information on how to do it. Easy and takes about a hour. No problems since
