2282 & 2283 Codes
I have codes H2282 & H2283 shows as Batt door codes. Wonering if this has to do with my Batt. draining on me after sitting idle for a few days?
I had the Batt and Alter. checked yesterday and they are fine....dealer wanted to charge me 200.00 to test further.
Any help would be great.

You either have or had a LOW battery. If you charge the battery and clear the DTC do you still get the DTCs??
Make SURE that your battery cables and battery terminals are clean and tight
If you can move the cable on the battery terminals by hand,,, they are way too loose. Proper torque fir the battery terminals is 11 ft lbs (97-03 C5)
