Make sure you got the correct sensors. There are a number of different types for older C5s and Euros. If you get the wrong sensor it wont program:

2001-2004 Sensors 25773946 - sensor 15234846 - nuts

To make sure the sensors are working before you fit them, you can sit the sensors next to the wheels and run through the sequence that Fritzm posted. Once you've programmed them make sure they go onto that wheel so mark them up. If you fit them to the wrong wheel you'll need to retrain them.

A dead sensor will show XXX on the DIC.

BTW fill out your profile. That way mambers can give specific advice for your car/area. Welcome aboard.

I wouldn't mess with junkyard sensors, just buy some new ones that way you know that they're good.

And you now don't have to pay the higher dealer price for them anymore either. There are several choices available now for much better prices.

Btw, they're TPMs (Tire Pressure Monitors), not TPSs. "TPS" refers to Throttle Position Sensor located on your throttle body. Just to prevent any confusion in terminology when talking about these puppies.

OW Wheels sells them online at $140.00 a set. Got the ones for my 2000 there and they work well. They sell them for many, many vehicles.
