Installing Line-Lok...How to Avoid Problems with ABS and Codes???
Will be installing a Line-Lok this coming week and was wondering if there are any do's/don'ts about the install. Also, am concerned about avoiding problems with the ABS system and also throwing codes. Among those of you who have the system installed, have you had any troubles with the system? Appreciate the help and thanks.

Re: Installing Line-Lok...How to Avoid Problems with ABS and Codes??? (K&B Motorsports)
I just got mine on my 2000 A4 with A/H.
When i applied the line lock & let up off the brake pedal, i got the "service AH/TC message, but my car ran fine.. 100%.
If you turn off the car, pull the key, wait a few secs, then restart, the message will be gone.
However, if you don't want to get the message, there is a silver aluminum I think its the porportioning valve, located just under the master cylinder, where there is a snap plug. You can disconnect the plug, and you will not get the message.
I unplug it prior to my limited drag racing, then plug it in for regular driving.
I know other guys who leave it out all the time.
Apparently, this senses pressure in the brake line, but without pressure from the brake pedal, it flashes the message.
You also get this message while on a dyno... Rear tires are spinning, but not the fronts. Totally 100% no biggie.... Pull the little clip/plug not to see the message.... :yesnod:
