Well I tried the search and got scattered results. I have an 04 Z06 and will be dropping in a built 427. I should dyno somewhere around 570-600 wheel. I've gotten several tips from different friends with different preferences on clutches. The motor should be going in sometime next week so I'd like to get the clutch ordered. ANY input and/or advice would be greatly appreciated!!
McLeod RST would be a great choice if you value stock pedal feel/drivability. They are great clutches. I really like my LS7 clutch, but people will tell you 600 rwhp is a bit too much for them. I've seen them hold more with no issues, but I can't prove that there isn't a potential problem at that power level.
Textralia 0Z700 single here,,,,many miles and many track passes and it's holding up great. The Monster line of single disc clutches also have alot of great reviews here on this forum. You might want to ask Pit-Man about his experience with McLeod clutches.
Hope this helps.
Some LESSONS LEARNED on the topic of NEW CLUTCHES..
1. Stock Clutch feel IS IMPORTANT! Trust me. I have a SPEC twin disk with a TICK Master. It works excellent BUT,, clutch pedal feel is HEAVY.
2. Take the "extra hour" it takes to make the critical measurements for slave cylinder shim thickness to see if you need to shim the slave or not.
When you use aftermarket clutch parts, making sure that the slave cylinder has the correct install depth between the torque tube and the pressure plate fingers is critical. If you get it wrong, it will cause clutch slippage or transmission damage.
2. Install a quality remote bleed line and make sure that it doesn’t leak after it’s installed.
3.. Make sure that you reference mark the old fly wheel to the to the crank before flywheel removal and inspect the old flywheel for any off set balance weights.
If you have off set weights installed in the old flywheel and don’t offset balance the new flywheel, you could have unwanted engine vibrations.

A Mantic single would fit your needs well at your projected power level, which would save you a fair amount of money compared to the twin at just under half the cost.
Pedal feel is very close to stock and we have them in stock.

Let me know if you would like any other hydraulic components (slave-master, throw out bearing comes with the single) and I'll put a package deal together for you.
You could go two ways with our clutches. A level 3 Single or a Level 1 Twin. Either will do what you need. Single has a 12 month warranty and the twin has 24 month warranty. So we want you to go out and have some fun with your Vette. Shoot me a PM and I'll get you in a clutch that meat and exceed your needs and wants.
